7. The Dame

Set with a somewhat eclectic melange of tables and chairs, this place has the feel of a funky, retro dive. It's also one of Lexington's newest additions to the live music scene, bringing to town a diverse collection of bands and performers. Singer-songwriters Tim Easton, Kathleen Edwards, and Todd Snider characterize The Dame's inclinations, as do Robert Randolph and improv band Green Genes. Local talents also grace the stage regularly, and a full bar is available. If bands aren't performing, the jukebox is playing, and there's no cover.   (© 10Best)
