To immerse yourself in the excitement and busy-ness of Keeneland and Lexington's horse industry, make it a point to visit the Track Kitchen. This onsite restaurant caters to folks affiliated with equine pursuits, so you're likely to dine in the midst of jockeys, groomers, owners, and the like. Breakfast is a cafeteria-style excursion into country goodness and includes home fries, bacon and eggs, creamy grits, waffles, biscuits and gravy, and a variety of lighter options. Affordable prices are as good as the food.   (© 10Best)

Enjoy biscuits and gravy or the cafeteria-style breakfast buffet. You might find yourself sitting beside a jockey, a trainer, or a sheik. The special--scrambled eggs, bacon, biscuits, apples, and bread pudding--costs $3.75. (from Southern Living)

The reason to go is the experience but the food is actually pretty good. Go in there during the meet and you will without question, see hall of fame trainers and kentucky derby winning jockeys. The food is very homestyle/cafeteria but its very good as long as you aren't trying to stick to a diet. and you also get to see the keeneland grounds which is the most beautiful racetrack in the world. If you're going to lexington, go to keeneland and eat at the track

The scrambled eggs were vulcanised and amongst the worst I tested anywhere in the world. Biscuits and gravity are a local dish, best left for the locals, certainly not suited to European taste buds.
