DOWNTOWN.   Pub ambience colors this local mainstay, especially in the front room, dominated by a large bar, wood paneling, and memorabilia from days past. The back room looks out on the patio and features exposed brick and artwork. Both venues attract frequent downtown crowds, who come for well-prepared pub fare and great draught and bottled beers. Sample a tavern battered halibut sandwich or maybe a smoked turkey reuben or a steak hoagie. Salads, soups, and daily hot entrees make appearances too, along with beef and veggie burgers. I got the BBQ sandwich which was ok, but def leaning more towards the bad side compared to the good side. Date had ribs, which were good. But dont sit by the back bar if you dont enjoy smoke coming in from the patio. It opens completely up so you are pretty much outside with the smokers.

Great location, great patio. The food is always good and the music is the best fun for summer on the patio!

Great, fun place! Went for dinner and stayed for the entire night. Heard a really good blues band and the food was good, not just the same old thing.
