1. Atomic Café

The Atomic Cafe has the worst management in Lexington!! The servers are ok, but one of the managers is horrible. He is rude and does not care about how the customers are treated. If they got better management, I would consider going back again.

Good food, good atmosphere, however, the service is the worst in Lexington. I have been to the Atomic many times over the past 5 years and recently, the service has gone downhill. I made reservations with a group of people for 9pm, and didn't get seated until 10pm, while waiting, the manager and staff were not at all accommodating and acted perturbed by us being there! Once seated, drinks were not filled, bread not brought with meals, and two orders were actually messed up! I decided to give it a second try this time with only one other person, I figured everyone has a bad night. The horrible service carried over to the next visit. I have noticed the staff always seem to be annoyed. It took forever to order/get food and once again the waitress was not attentive to our basic needs (drinks, bread, etc.)

We are long-time patrons of Atomic and are writing this review to say the food and service and atmosphere (up to now) has been excellent. We are very disappointed that management has taken it upon themselves to ban smoking under and near the OUTDOOR canopy main bar area. We, along with other customers who've decided NOT to come back, think this is foolish. Ban smoking inside - like a good, law-abiding restaurant should, but quit punishing smokers (who like to stay and drink and tip)!!! That is all.........
