Lexington's downtown French bistro is a convivial place, given to conversation and good food. It shares a name with the city's stylish sister town in Normandy, and it's become quite a culinary destination for folks in the area. Seared foie gras and steamed mussels serve as an apt introduction to dishes like grilled lamb chops, duck confit, and steak frites. Sauteed chicken and seared salmon or scallops also bridge the culinary terrain between comfort food and gourmet fare.   (© 10Best)

My wife and I celebrated a birthday at LeDeuville. The atmosphere was just average, but the food and service were both fantastic. This was one of the best meals out I've had in years. There was a large crowd in the restaurant in town for the Bluegrass Stakes and the wait staff did a good job keeping up. We had escargot, carprese salad, filet mignon and grilled salmon. Everything was prepared perfectly. We will definitely visit again!

I have dined frequently at Le Deauville. Expect fine service and even finer food. The owner, who is French herself, makes sure that the foods remain authentic. The bartenders and servers are also fantastic. If you become a regular they not only remember your face but also your preferences. They even have live music on occasion. I highly recommend Le Deauville to anyone who would like a posh dining experience.
