16. Main Cross Gallery

Representing many local artists, this Victorian Square gallery offers a host of unusual, whimsical, and gestural pieces. Ceramics, glass, mixed media, furniture, acrylics, oils, and even baskets provide a hint of what's available, and many of the smaller scale works are quite affordable. A portion of the gallery is dedicated to the artwork of John Tuska, a local figure who practiced in a variety of media, including sculpture, bronzes, and figural drawings.   (© 10Best)

What a delight to stumble upon this gallery after living here for so long... I worked at another gallery in Lexington for 4 years and Main Cross is so much more of what I wanted the gallery I worked in to be!

I return to the Main Cross Gallery for gifts and my growing art collection from local artists. The staff is friendly and helpful. The prices are more than reasonable and the artwork is excellent.
