4. Lincoln Cathedral

This magnificent structure is among the most stunning Gothic buildings in the United Kingdom. The fine medieval church dominates the Lincoln skyline thanks to its perch at the top of Steep Hill. Don't miss the Chapter House, the famed Lincoln Imps, the phenomenal Saint Hugh's choir, and the "Bishop's Eye," which is a breathtaking stained-glass window.
