5. Pyewipe Inn

Starting in the middle of town, you can follow the River Witham two miles down to reach this beautiful waterside pub. Popular for executives stopping off on the way home from work, many visitors also see the Pyewipe during boat tours down the river. They have the nicest beer garden, on a huge deck fronting the white Victorian building, you'll find. Enjoy a cask ale while watching the boats skim by. The cuisine is excellent, too.   (© 10Best)

I recently stayed at The pyewipe Inn and believe I have found a "gem" of a place - slightly hard to find buut well worth looking for, the food, staff and accommodation is wonderful and your made to feel at home, nothing too much to ask and 24 hr staff was a big help for me. Will stay there next year when I'm back - real english hospitality, and real ales too - a bonus.. Thank you so much to all The Pyewipe Staff.
