This family business was established in 1902 and is the best place in town for a cup of coffee. The reason it holds that distinction is the quality of the coffee, which is freshly roasted and ground from fine beans from around the world. They also offer a range of specially blended teas, and you can buy these products in their small shop afterwards. Sip a cup in the restaurant, upstairs on the medieval High Bridge that spans the River Witham with leaded windows looking out on the pedestrian street below on one side and the river on the other. This is the oldest bridge to house an operating business. All this and a long-standing staff make this a local favorite.
