2. Parque Eduardo VII

RATO. This green park consists of 62 acres, making it the largest in central Lisbon. With ponds, ornately carved walkways and well-tended hedges and flowerbeds, the top of this sloping park offers some of the finest views of the city and the rolling hills in the distance. A greenhouse in the corner of the park houses tropical plants, palms, shrubs and banana trees, and a hothouse holds more exotic plant life.   (© 10Best)
