CAMPO PEQUENO. This restaurant has certainly grown since 1926 when it first opened as a bar. Though it now seats 130 people, the establishment has maintained a comfortable atmosphere. The variety of Portuguese cuisine on the menu attracts a predominantly local crowd. Among the specialties offered are arroz de frango (chicken with rice), bacalhau (codfish), and cabrito assado (roast goat). The wine list provides a wide selection of Portuguese wines.
