BAIRRO ALTO. A trendy restaurant where diners go to mingle with the most fashionable of dinner crowds. Before dinner, visitors like to enjoy a drink (or two) at the large bar by the entrance. The two garden-like dining rooms exhibit magnificent Bohemian crystal chandeliers. Delicious dishes on the menu include Spanish-style mussels, fried garoupa, and the signature dish, acorda (a thick bread-based stew with seafood).
