BAIXA. This cozy eatery is located in an old vaulted tavern. The homemade cooking offers a rich blend of tantalizing dishes. Portuguese casserole, for example, is served on Thursdays (with the exception of summer months). Other favorites include pork liver with boiled potatoes (Iscas com Elas) and fritters of cod.
