Neoclassic in design, this hall, designed by Lonsdale Elmes, took 15 years to build. Still considered a Revival masterpiece, St. George's's Hall features more than a dozen Corinthian columns each standing almost 60 feet high. The hall's four elaborate wings, gardens, woods, and cobblestone courtyard were originally started in the late 1400's and finally completed in 1610.
