7. Western Approaches Operations Centre Museum

During the 1940s, this underground facility served as a covert naval headquarters, and its present-day incarnation has done an admirable job of recapturing this important era. The facility has been reconstructed to offer a first-hand glimpse at the day-to-day operations involved in planning the British-American air-sea attack.
