More than 80 acres of well-manicured and thoughtfully landscaped gardens are found in this haven of beauty. A variety of plants and flowers are meticulously chosen to provide a new experience each season of the year. Daffodils and camellias are in full bloom from March to April. The famous original Laburnum Arch blooms for a few weeks in mid-May. Water lilies, hydrangeas, and roses can be enjoyed in the summertime, and the rich tones of orange and claret announce the arrival of autumn. Visitors are encouraged to visit both the upper part, The Terrace, and the lower part, The Dell, of the garden.
