7. The Great Orme Mine

Interactive exhibits and audiovisual programs offer informative accounts on the interesting history of this attraction. Since 1987, archaeologists have discovered tunnels that were excavated between 1860 BC and 600 BC. It is believed that more than 1,700 tons of copper metal were mined here throughout the Bronze Age. Visitors can delve into the depths of these mines to illustrate the arduous working conditions that many once endured.
