Great meal
Totally disagree with the last post, we have been eating in this place for the last ten years never had a bad meal and the service has always been superb.

butlins canteen food
it was a big mistake to visit candles one monday evening.
i knew this when i walked in the door and saw the two couples in there eating plain boiled potatoes and soggy peas and carrots and washing it down with bottles off beer. unfortunately i stayed , it was awful, the steak had to be sent back, the young lad on his own in the kitchen couldnt cook it to order, and it was inedible anyway with a sauce that tasted as if out of a can. the food here is factory canteen or blackpool bording house evening meal fayre. oh and as for the jazz, it was one Rod Stewart cd going round and round all night. the experience was surreal. if this place is still open next year it would be a sad reflection on the tastes of the llandudno visitors
