2. Clare's Department Store

This store contains a wide variety of merchandise ranging from kitchenware to ladies' clothes. The basement contains china, glassware, and numerous cooking utensils. Gifts such as teddy bears, clocks, model cars, and ships are located on the first floor. Hats, lingerie, and nightgowns are on the second floor. The cafĂ© on the third floor is beautiful with its burgundy, cream, and dark woodwork. Snacks, soups, hot meals, afternoon tea, sandwiches, cream teas, cakes, and specials are all on the varied menu.
