CITY.   A welcome player in London's recent glut of blood-and-gore tourist attractions, this walk is guided by a local actor who knows how to tell a gruesome story. Lasting about an hour-and-a-half, the walk points out major sites related to tortures, executions, grave robbers and serial killers. Despite the gore, there's a lot of unique historic information provided. If you have a penchant for the creepy, try this tour – which, of course, kids love (but not suitable for under-12s). The walk starts from the Barbican underground station (on Aldersgate Street between Long Lane and Carthusian Street). Always call beforehand to check availabilty and times. I dont know what all thses people are talking about! my boyfriend and i went to the london dungeons and madame tussauds and the blood and tears walk was by far the best and more chilling. we were shown hidden passageways and told gruesome true life stories which left us both thinking and talking about it days after! i highly recommend this walk!

Went for halloween tour. Not very good, not at all scared out of wits. Maybe good sometime, but not this one.

I was dragged along to this by a group of my buddies and to be honest, it wasn't that good. Most of the stuff he talks about could easily be picked up in books and he tends to spend much of his time plugging a forthcoming book about the horrors in London. In some ways, I wouldn't have minded paying 4 pounds, but 6 pounds is quite a lot when you consider the content.
