2. Blood and Tears Walk

I dont know what all thses people are talking about! my boyfriend and i went to the london dungeons and madame tussauds and the blood and tears walk was by far the best and more chilling. we were shown hidden passageways and told gruesome true life stories which left us both thinking and talking about it days after! i highly recommend this walk!

Went for halloween tour. Not very good, not at all scared out of wits. Maybe good sometime, but not this one.

I was dragged along to this by a group of my buddies and to be honest, it wasn't that good. Most of the stuff he talks about could easily be picked up in books and he tends to spend much of his time plugging a forthcoming book about the horrors in London. In some ways, I wouldn't have minded paying 4 pounds, but 6 pounds is quite a lot when you consider the content.

Not as good as I would have expected. Not frightful enough; would not recommend.

Declan's walk was brilliant, he is extremely skilled in building up tension and creating a tense, chilling atmosphere, this walk is successful in giving an insight into the climate of London during its darkest periods of time. I would recommend this to anyone with an interest in the darker sides of history, or who just wants to know more about the richest city in europe.

Went as part of a corporate entertainment package, I really do not know why I bothered turning up. Limp, tedious, drawn out stories about not very much at all and to top it all, no blood and the tears were all shed by me when I found out how much it cost.

I took this walk in Jan 2003... I will never forget the experience. When I return to London, I'll go again.

This was the best walk we've found. Declan's stories were very captivating. We can't wait to go back.

I attended this walk on recommendation of a friend. It was a horrific experience, I suffered much shock and fright with the tour guide. It brought back visions of horror and despair and life in medieval ages. I did not know that England was filled with such horror. I only wish that in Warsaw there were such frights.

A good idea for a walk, although not carried out with enough panache and skill to make it worth 6 quid. Not sure if I'd recommend it, maybe worth a punt if you're really bored in the afternoon.

I came on this tour, but not as much as I would have liked. Declan's tour of the dark passages was not fulfilling and I found the dark and murky exteriors unrewarding. I will not come again, at least for a short while.

Save your money for a decent walk!

I was frightened out of my skins by Declan’s scary stories. He created a real atmosphere and you could sense the dead people from other times. He took me up the alley, where there were ghosts. I not attend another such thing.

I thought Declan's walk was amazing and chilling. I was particularly impressed about his knowledge of Thomas Neil Cream, 10 foot lizards and popular music. I'm very much looking forward to joining him for his 'Shakespeare City Tour'. When's your book out Declan? We want to read it!

A great, great tour with a fantastic guide! Great atmosphere, the guide is an actor and he is funny, very friendly and has an enormous knowledge of weird things like serial killers, Jack the Ripper and gravediggers. Truly recommended! You won't be disappointed.
