CLERKENWELL.   Folks from Clerkenwell often find their way to this relatively new pub, which opened its doors in the mid-'90s. Indeed, crowds come each weekday afternoon and evening for a terrific lineup of pub eats and tasty quaffs, the latter of which are delivered fresh from St. Peter's Brewery in Suffolk. Pleasant Georgian styling, cozy fireplaces (great for warming your bones in the winter), and friendly service don't hurt the pub's popularity much either.
