 EDITOR REVIEW: MAYFAIR. Claridge's Foyer is an elegant space for high tea, dressed as it is with gold pillars, fine chandeliers, and gilt-trimmed mirrors. The full English tea experience is observed, complete with perfect service in opulent surroundings. There's also a large assortment of teas, fine scones with clotted cream and strawberry jam, and excellent people-watching potential – everyone is dressed to the nines.
