STOKE NEWINGTON.   Eldest member of the Rasa family (there are five other locations), Rasa N16 has firmly established itself as one of the area's best places for authentic South Indian vegetarian fare. Indeed, since 1994, folks have clamored to the modest yet colorful restaurant (yes, the front facade is painted pink!) for an array of flavorful dishes. Among them are thakki curry with fresh tomatoes cooked in yoghurt with fresh ginger, onions and coriander, and a hearty Kerala lentil curry with washed mung beans, split yellow lentils, tomatoes and chilies.   (© 10Best)
