KEW.   Member of London's famed Chez Bruce-La Trompette family, this classy Kew gathering spot gets points for its creative takes on British classics and a contemporary interior that's simultaneously upscale and unpretentious. As snazzy as the scene is, the food truly steals the show, thanks to superb dishes like warm salad of anjou pigeon with balsamic vinegar and deep fried truffle egg; crisp mackerel with smoked salmon, watercress, apple and sweet mustard dressing; and slow-roasted pork belly and Morteau sausage with apple tarte fine, prunes and choucroute.
