4. The River Inn and Cellars

The River Inn is located in the middle of Derry, on the boundary of the historic city walls. This restaurant-bar has been around since before the Great Siege of the 17th century. Even though the building has some age on it, the interior is quite contemporary, with casual seating around wooden tables and a bar area. The food is includes steaks, sandwiches and salads. The clientele is a healthy mix of local business people and tourists who come to eat or just for a few jars of 'the black stuff' (Guinness).   (© 10Best)
