5. Hamptons International Film Festival

The Buzz -- Each fall, some of the world's most innovative artists converge on the Hamptons for five days of inspired entertainment and an international competition. Among the filmmakers who have presented their works at past festivals are Peter Webber, Peter Jackson, Campbell Scott, and Sylvain Chomet. The list of attendees is even more star-studded: Steven Spielberg, Martin Scorsese, Ed Harris, Steve Buscemi, and Julianne Moore. Screenings held in multiple movie theaters in the area.
