2. Benten

The first time we ate at this restaurant was in June 2006 and the sushi was not fresh. We gave them another chance on July 21, 2006. This is the last time we will eat at this place. I had the sushi sashimi platter, most of the fish was old, the salmon was real bad. We also had the Nabiyaki Udon, it was salty, tasted like it was burned and it was basically a bowl of broth for $16.00. The place is messy and dirty. Never again!!!!!

On our visit back to the east coast, we just had to have some good Japanese food! Friends recommended us to Benten and we were very happy! The food was to die for - try their oyster appetizer...sushi/sashimi was all so fresh! Everything was excellent and their ice cream is so wonderful - especially their ginger ice cream! We highly recommend it and we'll be back on our next visit!
