Went there last night with my fiance and another couple. I love steak & have been to most majors in NYC.(lugers brooklyn, wolfgangs, ben & Jacks, Delfriscos, palm, sparks, primehouse ect.. Just moved to Long Island & heard Paces was one of the best but with a much smaller price tag. Bill came to 350 for 4. We had 2 $30 bottles of wine,2 soups, 3 sides(macncheese, crispy fried onions & garlic mash) 2 coffees & a dessert(creme brulee/and 4 steaks(porterhouse for 2, & 2 Filets) Steaks: fillets were not tender & were over cooked, PH was OK ...Sides were bad except mash(but how do you mess that up?), kraft Mac & cheese is better & fried onions were oily & soggy by the end of the meal. Dessert...I love creme brulee. their's was crispy on top to perfection, but the custard was cold I would not reccomend it or Paces. Although its cheaper than most major steak houses, you could got to Outback for a 3rd of the price & get the same quality.
