4. The Chalet

EAGLE ROCK.   Designed to evoke a cozy ski lodge, The Chalet attracts a mixed crowd of Oxy students and neighborhood hipsters who snuggle up in booths and sip cocktails at the candlelit stone bar. Appropriately, a fireplace warms the scene, and while you won't find live music, a superb, eclectic mix of indie and alternative rock spills from a much-tended jukebox.
