DOWNTOWN.   An attractive melding of American and French flavors animates Patina's menu. A popular stop for pre- or post-concert dinners, the restaurant serves a winning à la carte selection and several prix fixe menus. Herb-steamed wild bass and roasted beef tenderloin are expertly prepared and arrive with sides like eggplant caviar and red pepper salad. The cheese cart is exceptional and not to be missed.
