WILSHIRE.   This airy, historic building serves a terrific weekend brunch in addition to its already popular weekday lunches and dinners. Gourmet versions of classic a.m. favorites populate the menu, from "egg in a hole" with olive bread and potatoes to scrambled eggs dressed up with creamed spinach. Looking for something different? Soft polenta with crème fraîche and wild honey is a creamy, comforting treat, while poached eggs are transformed into a savory delight with prosciutto and scallion sauce.   (© 10Best)

I'm stunned to see the negative reviews for Campanile. I've never had food or service that was anything less than exceptional. When an occasion calls for the finest dining experience—from wedding brunch to birthday dinners—I inevitably turn to Campanile.

Extremely pretentious service. It is a shame to see snooty service ruin once-good food.
