Even so, the establishment is not out to set trends or attract a fashionable crowd; rather, its main goal is to provide scrumptious, open-face sandwiches fashioned of items like smoked salmon, duck pâté, and fresh breads. Le Pain Quotidien is always good, whether it's the on Beverly, Melrose or here. Their products are good, usually the service is friendly and they know how to serve a decent cup of coffee. The open sandwiches are a feast for the eye and delicious. Very nice.

If you want a brief respite abroad, take the next transatlantic tax to Le Pain Quotidien. The ambience, pastries and gentle service make for a very serene experience. The lighting alone is worth the visit. If bread is your passion, sate your lust for crust here!
