6. Playa Las Viudas (Widows Beach (Twin Dolphin Beach))

CORRIDOR.   Playa Las Viudas (Widows Beach) is often called Twin Dolphin Beach, after the nearby hotel. Although there are no services here, it's perfect if you're looking for privacy, peace and quiet. The beach is punctuated with rocky outcroppings which create secluded little coves and tidal pools, so it's possible to spend an entire day here without seeing another soul, especially the farther west you go. Snorkeling and diving are quite rewarding in this area, and swimming is safe unless the water is noticeably choppy.   (© 10Best)
