3. Playa Costa Azul (Blue Coast Beach)

SAN JOSE DEL CABO.   Playa Costa Azul is famous among surfers the world over, and while it's not the best place for swimming, it's still relatively safe for wading and boogie boarding. A fun afternoon can be had here, lounging on the beach and watching the athletic feats of the surfers. Zipper's Restaurant & Bar on the beach offers tasty American food and cold beverages. Getting here might be a bit tricky – you need to be going east on the Transpeninsular Highway, and exit at the bridge at km 28.5.   (© 10Best)
