SAN JOSE DEL CABO.   There are a surprising number of excellent Italian restaurants in Los Cabos, and Da Antonio is one of the best. Hailing from Palermo, Italy, the chef prepares enticingly authentic cuisine that has earned raves from reviewers and guests alike for years. A warning: the menu is lengthy and everything looks and smells so tantalizing, you may have a difficult decision to make. Antipasti such as carpaccio and mussels marinara can be followed by incredible second course selections such as seafood risotto, meat and spinach filled ravioli, buttery fettuccine Alfredo, or spicy penne Arrabiata. Main courses run the gamut from salmon in a delicate lemon-caper sauce to beef tenderloin in a bold Chianti sauce.
