SAN JOSE DEL CABO.   The successful partnership of chef Peter McGeown and designer Morgan MacLeod began in 1998 with the opening of this upscale Italian-Mediterranean spot. Indeed, business was so good that the pair opened a second equally-successful restaurant down the street. The original has been cited as the best restaurant in Los Cabos numerous times by critics and publications from around the world – one meal here and you will be singing its praises as well. The ambiance is beautifully elegant with handpainted wall murals and carved furniture, and the food is truly superb. The emphasis is on top quality ingredients: organic herbs and vegetables, the freshest seafood and finest meats, in-house baked breads and pastries. Even the water is specially purified.
