SAN JOSE DEL CABO.   The idyllic Cabo Surf Hotel has many things to recommend it, not the least of which is this lovely seafood restaurant. The open-air palapa overlooking Palmilla Bay couldn't be a more romantic or relaxing spot to enjoy a fine meal and a long tall cocktail or two. Try an appetizer like Mexican Squash Blossom Soup or Crab Cakes with almonds, serrano peppers, cucumbers, carrots and mango sauce. Main course dishes run the gamut from simple yet sublime to complex and exciting. Scallops sautéed with garlic, cilantro, lemon and butter are the epitome of sublime, but Seven Seas' "Surf and Turf" platter – lobster tail topped with cilantro pesto and beef filet with guajillo chile sauce – is certain to delight taste buds as well.   (© 10Best)
