6. Huichol Collection

CABO SAN LUCAS.   Native Huichol Indians are known for their intricate beadwork, an ancient skill they still practice today. The craft begins with a wax-created animal form, to which beads are added for a brightly colored finished product. A guide is available to answer questions about exhibits, which explain the lifestyle of the tribe as well as the mechanics of their art.
