Home of the world-famous Kentucky Derby horse race, this track hosts gorgeous, well-trained thoroughbreds from the end of April to early July. The complex also features what's considered the world's largest equine museum, an interactive facility that allows visitors to experience the race from a jockey's perspective, making everything that much more immediate. At the museum gift shop, you'll find thoroughbred memorabilia and historical books. Guided walking tours of the racetrack can be arranged.   (© 10Best)
