This quaint shop is set in a fun Victorian home off Frankfort. As I enter – unsure what I would find – I pass a colorful, whimisical fish postal box and a Woodsman House number all carefully crafted from clay! Then I was overtaken by the vast selection of handmade pottery on display. My eyes darted from floor to ceiling and my spirit began to soar and I knew I was about to take an unexpected journey. As my mind took in the surroundings I was overtaken by the imagination and talent that went into creating these items from clay. Worldy music of places I've only dreamed of seemed to pour from each piece of pottery. With every niche, wall, and shelf I came upon I was in awe of all the incredible treasures I found. If that was not enough – how refreshing to actually see the potter at his wheel! His hands bringing raw clay to life with an ease of a "knowing" I did not understand – but wished I possessed. This potter's working studio and shop is one you'll want to visit and stay awhile. I left with many gift for others and some special ones for just me. The experience of this special shop is one that will remain and take me back again and again. Highly recommend this journey!
