2. National Opera House of Lyon

In existence for over 300 years, Lyon's opera house not only marks the physical center of the city, but it marks the cultural center, as well. It seats 1,200 people for each of its awe-inspiring performances. With top-notch acoustics, the whole structure floods with music for each performance by the Opera House Orchestra. You may also see a splendid performance by the Lyon Opera Ballet Company. If you do not see a show here, you should at least come by to admire the architecture!   (© 10Best)
