The foundation for this magnificent Gothic cathedral dates all the way back to the fifth century. St. Jean was built on another church's remains. The construction began in the late 12th century without reaching completion until the 15th century. At its peak, religious figures are depicted in statues. The astrological clock and the Bourbon chapel are among the cathedral's most noted attractions.
