St. Burno is Lyon's only Baroque church. It was originally built in 1736 as the cathedral of the Carthusian monks. Some of the featured paintings that you may find here include Tremolieres' "Ascension and Assumption." The architecture, especially the dome, boasts an extremely Baroque style.
