2. Cité des Gratte-Ciel

With buildings here that are tall enough to scrape the belly of the sky, it has been appropriately dubbed "Skyscraper City." Mr. Leroux followed the ideals of Tony Garnier when he constructed the buildings out of bricks encased in steel frames. The city reflected Garnier's vision of a utopian city that was started many years before.
