2. Brasserie L'Est

This lovely restaurant was once a train station, and it still has a miniature train on tiny tracks inside. Chef Gerard Lasne works in the kitchen that sits in the center of the restaurant so all the guests can watch him at work. He prepares the best of cuisines from around the world. You may want to order Polonaise borsch, Indian poultry whites, or cod roasted the Tunisian way. Whatever you choose, you are sure to be delighted by both presentation and taste! Brasserie L'Est is a great spot for a light lunch. It has a wonderful atmosphere and even a non-smoking section (they leave ashtrays on the tables, but it is non-smoking). The food and wine were reasonably priced. I would recommend it.
