Known not only for great soul food such as vegetables and a variety of meats, including roast beef, chicken, and barbeque ribs, but also as the restaurant frequented by the Allman Brothers Band. Breakfast selections also available.

The place to go when you need a pizza! They serve hand-tossed New York style pies and have a large selection of imported beer. They also serve subs and have other menu items. Eat-in but there is limited seating in the restaurant. Take-out is available.

This place is great for breakfast, lunch or early dinner. The hot-dogs are 'the best'-- very red and very tasty. Can be smothered in home-made coleslaw, cheese, chili, mustard, onions and barbeque sauce. This place has a revered reputation among the locals, including students and downtown workers- a fast, great, low-price meal.
