DOWNTOWN.   Upscale and deliciously mellow, this establishment caters to folks who appreciate fine cigars and cocktails. As a result, you'll often find groups of business people scattered around, lounging on comfy sofas, taking in strains of jazz, and indulging in stogies from Honduras or the Dominican Republic. Maduro's poisons include premium scotch, tequila, bourbon, brandy, and all sorts of martinis, cordials, wines, and beers. I visit Maduro's every now-and-again. After a long week of dance lessons, listening, showings, and paperwork it's nice to head in for Joe Scalissi and his Rat Pack grooves. A glass of wine or an Emerald City and just like that, its 3 hours of sweet smells, great music and an atmosphere that actually reminds of my great city of Manhattan.

Friendly waitresses, excellent selection of fine liquors and assortment of premium cigars made for a fine evening of entertainment. The jazz duo performing on our Saturday night visit, put the icing on the cake.
