DOWNTOWN.   Cleanly elegant and rife with luxurious materials and details, this sophisticated steak house makes a perfect destination for special-occasion or expense-account dining. Aged steaks range from the signature rib-eye to tenderloins and NY strips. Other options include Moroccan-spiced chicken, chipotle pork tenderloin, Maine lobster, salmon en papillote, and seared sea scallops with candied cashews. Fresh oysters and mussels make appetizing starters, and a full bar with an international wine list is available as well. I loved my meal. The servers were attentive and I had a great time. We went for my mom's 60th birthday, and she loved it. We had great martinis and the calamari is excellent. The steaks we ordered literally melted in our mouths. My brother and I ordered the New York Strip and it was very good. It was a wonderful experience overall.

My husband and I have dined at Delmonico's a few times in the past few months, and we have nothing but great things to say. Delmonico's is one of the only restaurants on the Capitol Square that delivers good food and good wine with friendly service. How refreshing to have a good meal in a beautiful restaurant without the pretentious service! We always recommend Johnny Delmonico's.

I have dined at some of the finest restaurants in Manhattan, Miami, Chicago, LA, San Fran, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Bangkok, and London. Johnny Delmonico's is by far the best steakhouse I have ever experienced. Staff, ambiance, price, and food quality are suberb!!! I really feel lucky to have a restaurant of this quality in midwestern Madison, Wisconsin!!!!
