DOWNTOWN.   Mellow and softly lit, this celebrated restaurant makes a strong showing as one of Madison's top steak houses. Hands down the best steakhouse in Madison. You cannot beat the ambiance and rustic charm of the Tornado. The drinks are also phenomenal - a must try is the sidecar. The bar area is beautiful with high backed leather booths - very intimate. They serve a variety of the best meats - delicious fillets, or one of my favorites, the pepper crusted venison.
